Job Description

Primary functions & responsibilities

  • Responsible for accounting for various revenue streams at the Management Corporation, including:

  • Managing end to end revenue cycle for Management Company– from revenue recognition to cash Identification and bookings for Management fees, Performance Fees, Admin Fees, various Other Fees.
  • Working on variance analysis for various revenue streams for Sr. management review.
  • Working on allocation basis for Administration fees to be billed to various funds and managing the Time Certification Survey to arrive at the allocation basis.
  • Working on Capital Calls and Distribution notices for Management Co investments
  • Preparing journal entries as required for all areas associated with various revenue stream.
  • Preparation of detailed reconciliations for various revenue accounts – monthly / quarterly.
  • Identifying, leading, supporting process improvements, automations to make the processes scalable
  • Liaising with the internal and external auditors
  • Present analysis to global team, work on 10Q reporting etc. for the assigned areas.

Qualifications

Education:

Chartered Accountant – ~ 3-5 Years for Associate and ~ 6-9 Years Sr. Associate

Experience Required:  

  • Revenue and investment accounting.
  • Financial services, Asset Management industry experience is preferred
  • Public accounting experience preferred.

General Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Oracle working knowledge preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail but can still see big picture.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
