Relevant Experience

Minimum 2+ years of experience using Japanese language in a professional environment

Strong exposure to research, analysis, and report writing

Experience in Due Diligence / Investigations / Compliance / KPO / Consulting preferred

Hands-on experience in public domain research, adverse media checks, and corporate profiling

Exposure to Japanese corporate / regulatory environment

Ability to translate and interpret complex Japanese content into structured English reports

Responsibilities

Conduct Japanese-language due diligence investigations using public domain sources

Perform deep-dive research on companies, individuals, legal records, and regulatory data

Analyze findings related to reputational risk, AML, KYC, and compliance

Prepare detailed and structured due diligence reports for global stakeholders

Ensure accuracy of data, citations, and documentation in reports

Maintain proper records of research methodology and sources

Collaborate with global teams across regions to deliver reports within timelines

Handle sensitive information in compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills Required

JLPT N1 certified and currently using Japanese in a professional environment

Exposure to Japanese corporate or regulatory environments

Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (written & verbal)

Ability to conduct professional-level research, analysis, and communication

Strong writing skills with ability to present data clearly and effectively

Ability to analyze and synthesize large volumes of information from multiple sources

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Graduate / Post-graduate

Certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or relevant qualifications

Hands-on experience with desktop research, online databases, and data mining tools
