Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SQL Server Engineer with strong expertise in database administration, development, and architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale SQL Server environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect SQL Server databases for enterprise-scale applications.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and queries with a focus on performance tuning.
• Administer SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with .NET C# applications.
• Manage multiple priorities and parallel responsibilities effectively.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Explore and implement cloud-based solutions (Azure SQL) for scalability and modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server administration and development.
• Proven expertise in database design and architecture for large-scale applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization of stored procedures.
• Practical knowledge of cloud database services (Azure SQL).
• Proficiency in .NET C# for application integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data warehousing, NoSQL, or distributed databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Exposure to modern database technologies and emerging trends.
