Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SQL Server Database Administrator based in Hyderabad. The core responsibilities include managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure their performance, security, and availability. Daily tasks involve database backup and recovery, configuring and monitoring database systems, implementing security measures, troubleshooting database issues, and fine-tuning performance. Collaboration with development and IT teams to ensure efficient database integration and implementation is also a critical part of the role.

Experience

2 to 5 Years real experience, preferably in customer tech support environment for international customers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL Server Database Administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades
• Skilled in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Knowledge of database security and compliance standards
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Customer Support Handling Skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration across teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or SQL Server certifications are a plus
