Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated SQL Developer to join our real estate technology team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong SQL fundamentals who are eager to grow into a Yardi Report Developer role. You will initially focus on SQL development, data analysis, and reporting, and will be trained on Yardi Voyager and YSR reporting to support US-based real estate clients.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to build domain expertise in real estate systems, reporting, and Yardi platforms while working on real-world client projects.

Key Responsibilities

SQL & Data Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Write optimized and reusable SQL queries to support reporting and business applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization techniques.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Support data migration, ETL processes, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper documentation for database structures, queries, and processes.

Yardi & Reporting (Training Provided)

• Undergo structured training on Yardi Voyager and YSR reporting .
• Assist in developing and maintaining Yardi reports and dashboards.
• Support senior Yardi Report Developers in data extraction and reporting tasks.
• Learn best practices for Yardi reporting, data visualization, and client-facing deliverables.
• Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Experience & Qualifications

• 24 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming , including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
• Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Good communication skills and willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or similar .
• Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
• Experience or interest in real estate / property management systems .
• Willingness to learn and work with Yardi Voyager & YSR reporting .
