Data and Analytics (D&A) Senior Spotfire Developer

We are seeking candidates with advanced data visualization expertise in Spotfire. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations to support business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to join an industry-leading firm and contribute to a dynamic Data and Analytics team.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Minimum of 5 years experience designing and developing data visualizations and dashboards using Spotfire.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Spotfire visualization capabilities.
• Proficient in IronPython scripting and Spotfire API.
• Experience in establishing complex information links.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Proficiency with data modelling, data warehousing, and handling large datasets.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies as required.

Role Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with over 5 years of Spotfire development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing visualizations and dashboards in Spotfire.
• Advanced skills in IronPython and Spotfire API.
• Demonstrated experience creating information links.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies preferred.
• Development experience in Databricks is advantageous.
• Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated approach to problem resolution, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent analytical abilities and enthusiasm for solving complex technical challenges.
• Thorough understanding of software development best practices.
• Strong debugging and optimization capabilities.
• Effective communicator, with proficiency in both written and verbal communication in formal and informal contexts.
