SPLUNK_Observability

JD Orientation : -

• SPLUNK Architecture and Components .
• Experience on both SPLUNK on Premises and Cloud SPLUNK versions.
• Hands on SPLUNK Observability (certification preferred).
• Hands-on on writing complex SPLUNK queries .
• Configuration and troubleshooting of all SPLUNK components like universal, heavy forwarders, deployment servers, search Heads, Indexers on both windows and Linux platforms
• Creating Alerting, Reports and Dashboards based on customer requirements using SPL.
• Experience on data on-boarding from Servers, Databases (dB connect), Network appliances and AWS platform.
• Experience on different apps and add-ons
• Exposure/experience Observability modules
• Experience in using regular expressions
• Scripting Knowledge, exposure to Kubernetes or Hyperscale's (AWS and /OR GCP).

Good-to-Have : -

• Experience on mapping CIM and building data models.
• AWS and GCP Architecture and services- Knowledge.
• Knowledge on Shell and PowerShell scripting .
• Exposure to Scripting, (SQL/big query, Python) .
• Exposure to SPL2, Edge Processors, SPLUNK Observability suit .

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role: -

• SPLUNK architecture changes and component deployment wherever required.
• Developing dashboards and alerts based on customer requirements.
• Writing simple and complex queries as per requirements.
• Troubleshooting of SPLUNK forwarders in Linux and windows environment.
• Configuring/setup SPLUNK Deployment Server and Heavy Forwarders.
• Data on boarding from different metrics from Cloud .
• Configuring AWS addons, DB connect and integrations with Service-NOW.
• APM and Infrastructure monitoring using SPLUNK Observability suit.
