design, which is sometimes based off customer topologies but can also be new design
setting up alerts to flow to the glass table / dashboard
demonstrating development capability to the end user and responding to feedback
Creating new / amending service analysers
Creating new templates for glass tables / dashboards etc
Setting up / amending and testing alerts
Setting up / amending thresholds
Creating complex searches for visualisations
Consulting on new requirements and workshopping the best way to achieve the requirement
Creating scheduled and ad hoc reporting
Setting up and managing all backend lookup tables
Setting up triggering of SNOW incident creation / closure as requested by customers
Troubleshooting issues, both in dev and prod
Splunk ITSI health checks:
Carrying out specific checks
Remediation of issues identified
Maintaining documentation:
changes to glass tables / dashboards
new process steps
