Job Description
SR Child Care Centre is a dedicated child development and therapy centre committed to improving the quality of life of children with developmental delays, disabilities, and special needs. The centre provides early identification, intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic services in a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly environment.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist, located in Muzaffarpur. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and assessing individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. They will provide therapeutic interventions, create personalized care plans, and collaborate with families and other professionals to support the development and improvement of communication and swallowing skills. The role also involves educating individuals and caregivers about effective strategies to enhance communication abilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech-related practices
- Experience in diagnosing and treating Language Disorders and Communication Disorders
- Familiarity with managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with individuals and caregivers
- Professional certification in Speech Therapy
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology or a comparable program
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a team environment are highly preferred
