Speech Therapist (Homecare Lucknow)

Role Overview

Medanta Homecare is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centric therapy services in home settings. This role involves working closely with patients experiencing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring personalized care. The therapist should be adaptable, independent, and comfortable with travel, while maintaining clinical excellence and empathy in diverse homecare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and patient needs.
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions tailored to each patients condition and progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and progress tracking.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Travel within assigned areas in Lucknow for home visits as per schedule.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families when required.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree preferred in Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role (hospital or homecare setting preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills across a range of speech and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in homecare environments.
• Willingness to travel.
