Your job:

Independently handle 2nd level technical support inquiries with a focus on control systems and Festo controllers
Analyse complex system and customer issues related to Festo controllers such as CEPE and CPXECEC
Prepare application notes, howto documentation, and technical knowledge base content and engage in technical forums and databases to provide structured and timely solutions
Develop and deliver technical training sessions and presentations remotely and in person for global support teams
Collaborate closely with development, product management, quality, sales, subsidiaries, and customers worldwide
Provide occasional onsite support for troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning of machines using Festo controllers

Your qualification:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification with 58 years of relevant experience
Professional experience in commissioning, technical service, or automation support with strong exposure to control systems
Solid PLC programming knowledge (e.g., CODESYS V3 including STL and CFC, Beckhoff)
Understanding of industrial fieldbus systems such as EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA
Experience with Festo controllers, IOLink devices, Festo Automation Suite, and Festo AX is advantageous
Strong analytical, problemsolving, communication, and training delivery skills with high selfmotivation
Customerfocused mindset with global collaboration experience, willingness to travel, and fluency in English
