Position Summary
Level: Manager
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.
Work youll do:
Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 10-15 years in data architecture, with at least 5+ years focused on Snowflake.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Snowflakes cloud-based data platform. This position requires hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing, a deep understanding of Snowflake features and architecture, and the ability to lead complex data migration and integration projects across business units.
- Snowflake advanced features (Streams, Tasks, Zero Copy Cloning, Data Sharing).
- SQL, Python, or Spark for data transformation and scripting.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Fivetran, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of data visualization/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in developing on J2EE platforms, .Net platforms, RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
- Develop robust and scalable Snowflake data architectures.
- Design ETL pipelines, data governance frameworks, and efficient schema models.
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization within Snowflake environments.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Snowflake solutions, including integration with third-party data sources and downstream analytics tools.
- Write efficient SQL and leverage Snowflakes features (e.g., Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning).
- Assess existing data warehouse solutions (e.g., Teradata, Redshift, SQL Server).
- Build strategies for migration to Snowflake, focusing on minimal disruption and maximum data integrity.
- Continuously optimize performance and cost through warehouse sizing, partitioning, and indexing strategies.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence teams, and key business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
- Create documentation, conduct workshops, and manage Snowflake roadmaps.
- Implement robust RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Design and automate monitoring solutions for data quality, lineage, and platform health.
- Ensure platform compliance with relevant industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
- Experience maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments in Cloud Platform.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Certified Associate or Professional
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc degree or equivalent from accredited university
