Position Summary
Level: Manager
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.
Work youll do:
Collaborate with the functional team and client to thoroughly understand business requirements. Oversee technical delivery by providing architectural and implementation recommendations. Lead documentation efforts, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. Direct the design and development of solutions, ensuring timely delivery according to project plans. Work closely with project leadership to identify and escalate potential risks and prepare status reports. Mentor junior team members and facilitate communication between various teams within the engagement. Respond to proposals by providing accurate estimations and technical input, supporting the overall success and alignment of project objectives with client needs.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 10-15 years of relevant consulting, industry or technology experience
- Experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, and technical consulting with expertise in architecting and rolling out new technology and solution initiatives.
- Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning and experience with data analytics and data visualization techniques and software.
- Experience in GCP Dataflow, BigQuery, Dataproc, Datalab, Dataprep, Pub/Sub and Genomics
- Experience with core Data Science techniques such as regression, classification or clustering, and experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, Torch, Caffe, Theano, etc).
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be solutions in alignment with business outcomes
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural design and provide relevant solutions to the problem
- Enable delivery teams and act as mentor by providing optimal delivery solutions with automations and frameworks for improved productivity
- Implement proof of concepts to validate cloud concepts, architecture and requirements and environments (such as Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Flume).
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be solutions in alignment with business outcomes
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural design and provide relevant solutions to the problem
- Enable delivery teams and act as mentor by providing optimal delivery solutions with automations and frameworks for improved productivity
- Implement proof of concepts to validate cloud concepts, architecture and requirements.
- Knowledge of cloud computing includes virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Applied experience with machine learning on large datasets.
- Experience working with statistical packages (R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.), and in working with datasets (SQL).
- Google Certified Professional
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc degree or equivalent from accredited university
