Title: Specialist I, Product Security

Location: Bangalore

Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Incident Response

• Execute Philips’ Security Incident Management Standard for detection, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Lead investigations into security events, ensuring accurate classification and timely escalation.

• Coordinate cross-functional response efforts with IT, Legal, Communications, and Product teams.

• Maintain detailed incident documentation and evidence in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Conduct post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of response processes.

Threat Intelligence

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from internal and external sources.

• Produce actionable intelligence reports on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics.

• Monitor geopolitical and cyber threat landscapes to anticipate risks impacting Philips operations.

• Integrate threat insights into incident investigations and security strategy development.

KPIs & Success Metrics

• Incident Response SLA Compliance: Timely containment and resolution of incidents.

• Threat Intelligence Impact: Number of actionable insights influencing risk decisions.

• Reporting Quality: Accuracy and clarity of incident and intelligence reports.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Effective collaboration across business units during incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Min 3 to 8 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proven experience in incident response and threat intelligence roles.

• Strong knowledge of forensic techniques, malware analysis, and adversary tracking.

• Familiarity with Philips’ Security Management Framework (SMF) and compliance obligations.

Preferred Certifications

• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

• Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)

• CISSP or equivalent

• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
