Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Educator, Speech Therapist, and Occupational Therapist at Ikshana Remedial Solutions in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will work directly with children requiring special education, creating tailored learning plans and providing adaptive teaching techniques. Responsibilities include assessing the individual needs of students, implementing therapies, and closely collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' academic and personal growth. The role also involves fostering communication skills, addressing learning challenges, and promoting overall well-being among children.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and experience working with Disabilities and a commitment to supporting diverse needs in students
• Experience in Teaching and working with children
• Expertise in Special Education methodologies and inclusion practices
• Excellent Communication skills for working effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Certification or degree in Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
• Empathy, patience, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
