Special educator

Job description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Remedial Educator to support children with learning difficulties by providing individualized academic interventions. The candidate should be passionate about child development and skilled in addressing diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify learning gaps and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one or small-group remedial sessions.
• Support children with difficulties in reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic areas.
• Monitor, record, and report student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists for holistic child development.
• Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Psychology / Special Education / Remedial Education (preferred).
• Certification in Remedial Teaching or Learning Disability (added advantage).
• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to design creative and engaging learning activities.

Position:Remedial Educator (Part-Time)

Location:Sri Ramakrishna Child Development Center

Working Hours:1:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Salary:12,000 per month
