Job Title: Spanish-Speaking Translator (Procurement)


Job Location: Mumbai, India (On-site)


Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

We are looking for a Spanish-Speaking Translator to support our procurement and sourcing operations by providing accurate translation and interpretation services between Spanish and English. The role involves close coordination with procurement, vendor management, and commercial teams, particularly for communication with Spanish-speaking suppliers and partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate procurement-related documents and commercial correspondence between Spanish and English
  • Provide verbal interpretation during vendor meetings, negotiations, calls, and site discussions
  • Support procurement teams in communication with Spanish-speaking suppliers to ensure clarity on technical, commercial, and delivery requirements
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and validating translated procurement documents
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of all translated materials
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement terminology and project requirements
  • Maintain organized records of translated documents and communication
  • Support follow-ups with vendors related to quotations, documentation, and order execution


Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Proven experience as a translator or interpreter
  • Ability to translate business and commercial documents accurately
  • Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai on a full-time basis


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management
  • Familiarity with procurement documents such as RFQs, POs, contracts, and invoices
  • Experience working with international vendors, especially from Spanish-speaking regions
