SOX Audit - ITGC

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager for SOX ITGC, youll be responsible for:

• Leading and managing SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance efforts across systems, applications, and environments.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT control frameworks to ensure adherence to SOX and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with business units to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring effective controls and compliance processes.
• Ensuring the alignment of IT compliance programs with overall business strategies and objectives.
• Engaging with external auditors to ensure successful and seamless audits.
• Supervising and mentoring a team of professionals in delivering high-quality compliance activities.
• Keeping abreast of new regulations, standards, and emerging threats related to SOX and IT compliance.
• Preparing and presenting reports on compliance findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Driving organizational awareness about SOX compliance and IT control best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 12 years of experience, with strong expertise in SOX, IT general controls (ITGC), and compliance frameworks.
• A background in the financial services practice is strongly preferred.
• A proven track record of designing and implementing IT compliance and SOX programs in complex environments.
• Post-graduate degree or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of IT risk assessment, control evaluation, and how these impact financial reporting.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
