Sourcing Manager

Your Mission: To strategically source high-quality yarns and fabrics that meet design, cost, quality, and sustainability requirements, while building strong supplier partnerships and supporting timely, efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing of yarns and fabrics in line with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on technical capability, capacity, compliance, and commercial competitiveness
• Coordinate yarn and fabric developments, sampling, and trials with suppliers and manufacturing teams
• Collaborate with quality and compliance teams on supplier audits and approval processes
• Participate in and support audits covering quality systems, health & safety, ethical standards, and environmental practices
• Follow up on corrective action plans to ensure supplier compliance and approval readiness
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost optimization and economies of scale
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality consistency, delivery reliability, and cost performance
• Maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement
• Plan and organize sourcing trips, supplier visits, and audit schedules when required

Profile

• Yarn & Fabric Sourcing professional with strong understanding of textile materials and manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience in supplier evaluation, audits, and approval follow-up
• Strong awareness of ethical, social, and environmental compliance standards
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong reporting skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Open to frequent domestic travel for supplier development, audits, and sourcing activities
• Proficient in ERP systems
• Multilingual: Hindi, Tamil, English
