Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Sourcing Lead based in Mumbai. The Sourcing Lead will oversee sourcing strategies, identify and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and handle procurement activities. Additional responsibilities include analyzing market trends, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Analytical Skills to evaluate sourcing trends and propose cost-effective strategies
• Ability to perform Quality Checks at multiple steps
• Prior experience in sourcing in the footwear industry

• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders effectively
• Experience in Contract Negotiation and Procurement to manage supplier agreements and purchasing processes
• Recruiting skills to source and onboard suppliers or vendors
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of the footwear or fashion industry is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
