Sourcing & Development(Brakes & Machining Parts)

Job description:

• Responsible for sourcing & development of Brake system, gear box, Chain, sprocket machining parts & wiper motor
• Should have strong negotiation & communication skill
• Should have techno commercial knowledge on relevant commodities
• Should have capability to lead supplier meeting and managing QCDDM of suppliers
• Should have knowledge of supplier selection & supplier rationalization
• Should have knowledge of zero based costing
• Responsible for achieving cost reduction, budget cost (part cost, tooling & development cost) for relevant commodities as per management direction
• Ensure parts for the program milestones and capacity for the mass production parts
• Responsible for parts supportability from the suppliers when SCM team needs support

Key Qualification & Skills Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field.

2. MRP, ERP Systems, SAP,Ariba

3. 8+ years of experience procurement/sourcing with significant experience in chassis & machining parts .
