Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Sourcing and Quality Engineer located in Ahmedabad or Rajkot with flexibility. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating the resources required to implement projects, conducting supplier research, and vendor qualification and selection, providing customer service, managing accounts, and creating vendor management SOP and company ISO certification quality management system development. The Project Engineer will also work closely with vendors and clients to understand their requirements and propose solutions that meet their needs. He/ She needs to work closely to understand clients' technical needs of various manufacturing like sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, Forging /casting, Injection Molding, Metal stamping, Engineering Services, and Automation.

Must have a great mechanical engineering attitude and strong relationship development experience.

Qualifications

• Able to get things done as directed with minimal direction
• Experience as a Project Engineer on the sourcing side, Quality role, and technical engineering expertise
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is required - +2 years preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and Injection Molding knowledge
• Find key suppliers and develop a relationship with them across pan India.
• Prepare RFQ and SME for technical details on the quote
• Visit supplier/ vendor for production inspection and dispatch approval
• Negotiate with the supplier and issue PO, Quote, and run day-to-day operations, visit supplier as needed, and have them on-boarding on our supplier network platform
• Cold email and call when needed for sales and vendor searches both
• Work with third-party marketing agencies and manage social media accounts
• Develop reports for the CEO
• Understanding of drawings, and Solidworks experience is a plus
• Salary is based on experience and skill level and starts at 25000 per month
