Job Description

Responsibilities

:
Procurement & Order Management:
o Manage the order-to-supplier process from requisition to delivery.
o Issue purchase orders and ensure timely fulfilment from suppliers.
o Track order status and update internal teams on delivery timelines.
Vendor Management:
o Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.
o Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of service with suppliers.
o Handle vendor inquiries and resolve order discrepancies.
Service Level & Backorder Reporting:
o Monitor supplier performance and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
o Create regular reports on backorders, delivery times, and service levels.
o Implement corrective actions with suppliers for underperformance.
Inventory & Stock Management Support:
o Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
o Assist in managing backorders and prioritizing urgent stock replenishments.
Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements within procurement workflows.
o Support procurement cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
Experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain.
Familiarity with order-to-supplier processes, inventory management, and reporting.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Experience with service-level reporting and performance tracking is a plus.
