Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting, building, and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure while applying DevOps best practices and Agile methodologies. This role involves close collaboration with GE technical leads and stakeholders, contributing both technical and non-technical expertise to ensure reliable, scalable, and well-documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and manage source code integration, branching strategies, and version control tools.
• Perform build and release management activities, including administration, support, maintenance, training, and testing.
• Build, manage, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Support GE systems by applying CI/CD technologies and DevOps principles across environments.
• Execute planning, implementation activities, GE workshops, and assigned DevOps tasks.
• Provide industry knowledge and expertise in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with GE technical leads and subject matter experts, providing both technical and non-technical inputs.
• Document solution architecture and deployment processes to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• EMS (Energy Management Systems) product knowledge as mandatory,
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in source control management, branching strategies, and version control systems.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to document technical processes clearly and effectively.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.
• Prior involvement in DevOps workshops, planning sessions, or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with release management and build automation tools.
