Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished technology leader with 15+ years of experience in telecom software engineering, application architecture, service orchestration, and solution design. This role is ideal for someone who has deep expertise in building large-scale, carrier-grade systems and can drive architecture strategy across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end telecom software and solution architecture.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage full development lifecycles.
- Oversee NetP provisioning, TCx order management, and Cramer inventory integrations.
- Drive ONAP-based orchestration, automation, and API-driven workflows.
- Align requirements across Operations, IT, and Engineering teams.
- Create high-quality technical documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
- Design and optimize NoSQL and relational database architectures.
- Identify system failures and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant solutions.
- Analyse and improve system performance and scalability.
- Design cloud-native solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Contribute to development using Groovy, Kotlin, Python, and Java.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and multithreading best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering quality standards.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in telecom software and application architecture, service orchestration, or solution architecture.
- Proven experience in supplier coordination and development lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of NetP provisioning, TCx order management, and Cramer inventory systems.
- Expertise in ONAP architecture, policy-driven automation, and API-based orchestration.
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and harmonize requirements across Operations, IT, and Engineering.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Expertise in database modelling and architecture for both NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB) and relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL).
- Proficient in identifying single points of failure in systems and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
- Skilled in analyzing and improving system performance to optimize application efficiency and scalability.
- Knowledge or experience in ONAP (Open Network Automation Platform), including its components, architecture, and application for network service automation and orchestration.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and micro-service technologies.
- Proficient in software development programming languages, including Groovy, Kotlin, Python, and Java.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and multithreading techniques for building robust and scalable solutions.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and create technical documentation.
