Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with strong technical expertise in Instant Payments, SWIFT, ISO 20022 , and core Java-based payment platforms . The role involves leading architecture design, modernization, and integration for large-scale banking and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design real-time/instant payment solutions (UPI, Faster Payments, SEPA Instant, RTP, FedNow).
• Lead end-to-end migration from SWIFT MT to ISO 20022 MX message standards.
• Define and develop Java-based microservices , APIs, and payment engines.
• Provide solution architecture for payment hubs, cross-border payment systems, clearing systems .
• Review technical designs, guide development teams, and enforce architecture best practices.
• Lead design of API specifications , message flows, and XML/XSD-based transformations.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, business, and compliance teams across global locations.
• Work with cloud-native environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP , including Kubernetes/Docker-based deployment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on Java experience (Java 8+), including:
• Spring / Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Multithreading, performance tuning
• Integration frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration)
• Expertise in:
• Instant Payments (UPI, Faster Payments, SEPA Instant, FedNow, RTP)
• SWIFT Messaging (MT, MX, gpi)
• ISO 20022 (message validation, mapping, schema design)
• Experience with Kafka/MQ , distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON , and message transformation tools.
• Familiarity with security standards: PCI-DSS, encryption, tokenization.
• Integration experience with core banking systems , payment gateways, and clearing houses.
• Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
