Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Architect (SA) to join our Global Digital Solutions (GDS) team within Enterprise Accounts . In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical design and architectural strategy to advance and close high-value digital solutions sales. The GDS team is a critical component of Iron Mountain's growth, focused on delivering modern Information, Content, and Data Management solutions to our largest enterprise clients.


What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Scoping and Solution Design: Lead the technical discovery and design process, architecting comprehensive solutions across the Iron Mountain Digital portfolio that leverage modern hybrid architectures and address the client's physical and digital information challenges.
  • Collaborate and Position Value: Partner with the sales team to advance customer engagements by presenting technical overviews, delivering compelling solution demonstrations, and effectively communicating the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO ) and Return On Investment (ROI ) of proposed services.
  • Ensure Technical Integrity: Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME ) for the sales team, providing training, supporting the technical portions of Requests For Proposals (RFPs ) and Requests For Quotations (RFQs ), and ensuring solution configurations and architectural diagrams are accurate and aligned with Statement of Work (SOW ) requirements.


What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical solution design, architecture, or pre-sales engineering for Enterprise-level organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of modern and historical Enterprise technology, including Content Services, Information Governance, Business Process Management (BPM) , and the application of Cloud SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and Machine Learning (ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
  • Proven ability in consultative solution selling and advancing complex sales cycles, demonstrating expertise in positioning technology to solve profound business and technical requirements.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer engagements, along with experience and/or certifications in at least three of the primary technical disciplines listed in the job description (e.g., Content Services, Cloud SaaS, Data Recognition technologies).
