Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design, build, and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions using Microsoft Azure and related platforms. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver both custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions, primarily supporting complex enterprise environments.

This role demands strong architectural expertise, hands-on technical depth, and the ability to translate business objectives into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end solution architectures using Microsoft Azure services, aligned with enterprise and industry standards
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation
• Lead system integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across applications and platforms
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, mentoring development teams and junior architects
• Conduct architecture reviews and audits to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Evaluate technology options and perform architecture trade-off analysis to recommend optimal solutions
• Design and implement security best practices , compliance requirements, and governance standards
• Develop and present proofs of concept (POCs) to validate proposed solutions
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs , performance, and reliability
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Stay current with emerging technologies, architecture trends, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect OR strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer transitioning into architecture
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure , including but not limited to:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Event Grid
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• .NET Framework (EF, LINQ, ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
• C#
• API protocols (REST, SOAP)
• Solid understanding of software architecture styles, design patterns, and best practices , including:
• SOLID principles
• MVC, REST, N-Layered, SOA
• Modular Monolith, Microservices
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Asynchronous and parallel programming
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and performance tuning
• Experience with DevOps practices , version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications
• Experience with AWS in addition to Azure
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
• Experience with:
• Data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies
• Containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• IoT solutions and edge computing
• Machine learning and advanced analytics
• Automated testing frameworks
