Job Overview
Everest Group is looking for a senior leader who can own solution architecture and drive delivery for enterprise-wide technology initiatives . The first and most critical initiative will be building a data platform and onboarding key systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and ADP . Over time, this role will also lead architecture and execution for other strategic programs across business applications, integrations, automation, and platform modernization.
This role blends architecture leadership + program execution + team management . You will partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to define target solutions, align teams, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design (Across Initiatives)
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for major programs across Everest Group (data platform first, then broader enterprise initiatives)
- Define target architecture, standards, and patterns for:
- system integrations (API-first, event/batch patterns where appropriate)
- security, access controls, and compliance alignment
- scalability, reliability, and operational readiness
- Lead architecture/design reviews, ensure best practices, and make pragmatic trade-offs to unblock delivery
Build and Scale Enterprise Data Platform
- Define and own the architecture for the Snowflake-based data platform: environments, data layers, ingestion patterns, governance, and operations
- Establish standards for data ingestion (incremental loads, backfills, history tracking), modeling conventions, and data quality practices
- Implement operational discipline: monitoring/alerting, SLAs, incident response, RCA practices, and cost governance (especially Snowflake compute)
Lead Delivery Across Multiple Strategic Programs
- Create and drive execution plans: roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder updates
- Coordinate work across internal teams and vendors/partners where applicable
- Build repeatable delivery processes: intake/prioritization, sprint/iteration planning, release/change management, and documentation
- Ensure solutions are production-ready with proper testing, security review, and operational handover
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Manage and mentor engineers/analysts working across these initiatives (data engineering first, then broader teams as scope expands)
- Set expectations for engineering quality: coding practices, reviews, reusable frameworks, documentation culture, and CI/CD discipline
- Identify capability gaps and support hiring/interviewing as the team scales
Stakeholder Management & Business Value
- Partner with business leaders (Research, RevOps, Finance, HR, Operations) to translate needs into clear requirements and measurable outcomes
- Deliver early value wins (faster reporting, reduced manual effort, better visibility across functions) to build adoption and trust
- Communicate trade-offs clearly and align stakeholders on priorities and delivery sequencing
Education and Experience
- 1215 years of overall experience with significant depth in solution architecture and delivery leadership
- Proven track record leading enterprise initiatives end-to-end (architecture through implementation and rollout)
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns:
- application integration (APIs, middleware patterns, batch/event patterns)
- cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
- security, identity, and governance best practices
- Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics ecosystems; working knowledge of Snowflake is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and influence skills; comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ownership mindsetdrives execution, not just designs
Nice to Have
- Experience building or modernizing data platforms (Snowflake / Azure data stack preferred)
- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, ADP, and collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Exposure to orchestration/transformation tools (ADF/Airflow/dbt) and CI/CD practices
- Experience delivering platform modernization or enterprise application programs beyond data

- Data platform foundation established with clear standards for security, ingestion, quality, and operations
- Salesforce/NetSuite/ADP onboarding delivered with reliable refresh and trusted datasets
- Delivery model established that can be reused for future enterprise initiatives (predictable execution, strong stakeholder alignment, measurable value)
- Team operates with high engineering discipline and clear ownership
