We are looking for experienced Solutions Architects with a strong background in API development to join our Selling Partner API (SP
- API) team.
This role combines technical expertise with customer
- facing responsibilities, focusing on building and maintaining scalable and secure applications that comply with Amazon's policies.
As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will help organizations unlock the potential of Selling Partner APIs.
Your role will involve shaping and implementing strategies to boost SP
- API adoption across a diverse range of businesses, from innovative startups to established enterprise clients.
You should be adept at establishing technical credibility with a variety of stakeholders, including API Developers, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and C
- level executives.
Our team provides SP
- API developers with comprehensive self
- service onboarding resources.
These include curated guidance in the form of sample code, SDKs, Postman collections, and detailed onboarding guides, all designed to streamline the app development process.
Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing and evolving these resources to meet the changing needs of our developer community.
Key job responsibilities
- Identify and remediate security gaps in existing applications
- Design and architect secure, scalable solutions using Amazon's Selling Partner APIs
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to external developers and internal teams
- Create and enhance developer resources, including sample code and implementation guides
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Influence API product, security and compliance strategy based on customer feedback and market needs

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
- Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired
- Strong understanding of developing using APIs, data and application security

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience
- Experience implementing a cloud
- based technology solution
- Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
