Solution Lead - Core Banking

As a part of the Business Solutions Group (BSG) in Financial Services, The Solution Lead Core Banking will be responsible for owning end-to-end solutioning, pre-sales, and transformation advisory for Core Bankingled engagements within BSG. The role requires strong domain depth across retail and corporate banking, platform-led modernization, and large deal solution orchestration.

EXPERIENCE: 10 - 15 Years

LOCATION: Chennai/ Bangalore

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead solution architecture and design for Core Banking transformation programs across retail, corporate, and digital banking.
• Own pre-sales solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, and large deals, including effort estimation, commercials, and value articulation.
• Collaborate with sales, alliances, delivery, and practice teams to build platform-led, outcome-oriented propositions.
• Act as solution anchor for large pursuits and strategic accounts, engaging directly with client CTOs, CIOs, and Architecture forums.
• Leverage partner ecosystems (core platforms, hyperscalers, fintechs) to craft differentiated solutions.
• Mentor solution architects and contribute to BSGs reusable assets, accelerators, and POVs.

SKILLSETS SOUGHT

• Strong domain expertise in Core Banking Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Deposits, Payments integration.
• Proven experience in large deal solutioning and complex transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration, microservices, API-led architectures, and data modernization.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technology roadmaps and commercial constructs.

PREFERRED/ PLUS SKILLS

• Experience with Any 1 Core Banking platform (Temenos/ Thought Machine/ FIS/ Fiserv/ SBS/ Mambu etc) is a strong plus.
• Exposure to core banking platform implementations or modernization programs.
• Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP and platform-native services
