Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:

To design, govern, and drive the implementation of scalable digital and AI solutions. The Solution Architect acts as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that Nouryons digital platforms (CMS, PIM, eCommerce) and emerging AI capabilities (GenAI, Agents) are secure, compliant, and integrated seamlessly into the enterprise ecosystem (Microsoft/SAP).

About The Job (Job Responsibilities):

• Architecture & Strategy: Define and realize the roadmap for AI & Digital initiatives. Create holistic solution architectures (Logical & Physical) that align with Enterprise Architecture guidelines, security policies, and long-term strategy.
• AI Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert for GenAI technologies (LLMs, Agentic workflows). Identify opportunities to apply these technologies within the Microsoft Dynamics and Azure ecosystems to solve business problems.
• Digital Platform Governance: Serve as the technical owner and primary contact for key digital platforms, specifically Optimizely (CMS) and InRiver (PIM). Ensure the data model and functionality support business needs.
• Vendor & Quality Management: Oversee external vendors and implementation partners. Lead governance routines (CABs, design reviews) to ensure vendor code and architecture meet internal quality standards and integration patterns.
• DevOps Collaboration: Act as a "sparring partner" for DevOps teams during refinement and planning. Translate high-level architecture into executable user stories and solution directions.
• Innovation: Monitor market trends (Blockchain, AR/VR, Copilot Studio) and drive the innovation agenda by leading experiments and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

We believe you bring (Education & Experience):

• Education: Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with a significant background in software engineering. You must have a "hands-on" attitude and be capable of deep diving into code or configuration when necessary.
• Background: Proven experience working in a 'digital' environment (e.g., Digital Agency technical lead) and/or a complex B2B enterprise environment (Manufacturing/Chemical industry preferred).

Technical Expertise (Hard Skills)

• Microsoft Ecosystem: Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft stack, specifically .NET, Azure (PaaS/SaaS), and the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. Relevant Microsoft Certifications are highly desirable.
• AI & Emerging Tech: Demonstrable experience with Generative AI technologies. This includes understanding LLM capabilities, RAG architectures, AI Agent patterns, and Azure AI Search.
• Digital Platforms (CMS/PIM):
• Optimizely: Deep understanding of DXP/CMS functions (Admin, Reports, User Management, Integration interfaces).
• InRiver PIM: Strong knowledge of Product Information Management functionality and complex data modeling.
• Enterprise Integration: Extensive experience with B2B customer portals and complex data integration into SAP environments (APIs, middleware, data lakes).
• Architecture Standards: Proficiency in business process modelling (BPMN) and architecture frameworks (UML, ArchiMate, TOGAF knowledge is a plus).

• Personal Leadership: High standard of interpersonal leadership. Ability to take ownership of problems, admit mistakes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Communication & Consulting: Strong consulting skills; ability to ask effective questions, translate technical complexity for business stakeholders, and influence without direct authority.
• Agile Mindset: Experience working in DevOps/Agile setups. You act not just as an architect who documents, but as an active advisor in team refinements and sprint planning.
• User-Centricity: A strong focus on User Experience (UX), ensuring technical decisions ultimately serve customer satisfaction.
