Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP BTP, CAPM, RAP, and S/4HANA to drive end-to-end solution design and delivery. The role involves a balance of solution & delivery ownership (75%) and practice development & presales support (25%) .

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Delivery Ownership (75%)

• Own end-to-end solution design, architecture, and delivery for SAP ABAP-based solutions on S/4HANA and SAP BTP .
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using:
• SAP ABAP (OO ABAP)
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• SAP BTP services and integrations
• Translate business requirements into technical solution architecture and detailed designs .
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Drive code quality, performance optimization, and architectural governance .
• Collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Handle complex technical challenges , root cause analysis, and solutioning.

Practice Development & Presales (25%)

• Support presales activities including solution walkthroughs, effort estimations, and technical proposals.
• Contribute to architecture assets, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices .
• Participate in RFP/RFI responses , PoCs, and client solution presentations.
• Mentor and guide team members to strengthen SAP ABAP & BTP capabilities within the practice.
• Stay updated with SAP innovations, roadmap, and emerging technologies and drive adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 68 years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development and architecture .
• Hands-on expertise in:
• SAP ABAP on S/4HANA
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• SAP BTP
• CAPM
• Experience with:
• OData services, CDS Views, AMDP
• SAP integrations (APIs, event-based architecture)
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and SAP clean core principles.

Functional & Soft Skills

• Proven experience in solution architecture and technical leadership roles .
• Ability to interact confidently with clients, architects, and senior stakeholders .
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding teams .

Good to Have

• SAP certifications (ABAP / S/4HANA / BTP).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
• Exposure to multi-industry SAP implementations.
