Solution Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to work closely with Enterprise Architecture, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to design technology solutions that align with our enterprise architecture principles and strategic objectives.

Skills & Experience

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of Solution Architecture experience, with strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles (NOT an Enterprise Architect role)
• Handson Networking experience (VPC/VNet, routing, LB, DNS, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, hybrid)
• Strong knowledge of Firewalls & security controls, such as NGFW / WAF / perimeter controls / segmentation / zerotrust)
• Cross domain technology breadth across applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and cloud.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborative experience with SMEs and cross functional teams, supported by strong analytical and decision-making skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience with formal architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Cloud architecture exposure across platforms like AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Background in regulated or largescale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design robust end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards, ensuring all functional and nonfunctional requirementssecurity, performance, scalability, and resilienceare addressed.
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, including solution designs, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Drive architecture governance, participating in design reviews, ensuring compliance with policies, regulatory needs, and best practices while managing risks and technical debt.
• Promote continuous improvement by staying updated on emerging technologies, enhancing standards, and encouraging reuse of patterns, platforms, and services.

• Key relationships: Enterprise Architecture, Delivery Teams, Business Stakeholders, Technology SMEs, Security and Risk Teams
