Role Description - Solution Advisory for Data and AI
The Solution Advisory Team is a specialty sales advisory service within the Global Network. They are specialists aligned to Accenture’s priority business offerings that work with leadership to help, originate, sell, and win Data and AI deals. This team is the sales lab that works with offering leadership, equipping them with relevant market insights, customized sales messages, and curated sales assets to originate, sell, and win.
As a part of the Solution Advisory team, you will drive the following:
Planning and Origination:
Support annual planning to outline sales targets, target clients, and enhancement of sales assets.
Conduct ongoing research to identify which companies to target over the next 6-12 months.
Lead sales/pipeline reviews with leaders.
Prepare for and support first conversations with potential clients.
Proposals/ Orals:
Define proposal response requirements and best sales messaging approach.
Bring the latest knowledge and best of content to each opportunity (e.g. industry trends, benchmarking, competitive insights, etc.)
Shape the overall solution (approach, team, pricing, differentiators, etc.) to best fit the deal requirements.
Prepare and help lead orals with innovating ways of selling to help differentiate Accenture.
Content Management/ Continuous Improvement:
Develop go-to-market approach/ assets.
Maintain global repository of sales assets (e.g., proposals, stage 0 decks credentials, etc.)
Conduct reviews (loss/delivery) with client teams to understand how we can improve and harvest deliverables.
Stay relevant through training, research, client interaction and feedback sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Building & Leadership: Build and lead a team providing deal solutioning services for Data and AI clients. Expand the team to provide broader coverage across geographies over time.
Data & AI Deal Support: Lead the end-to-end deal process for Data and AI projects, encompassing, feasibility assessments, and business case development, ensuring alignment with Accenture’s cutting-edge AI capabilities.
Tailored Multi-Team Engagement: Partner & Collaborate with multiple teams across Accenture involved in selling & delivering work including Market Leads, Client Account Leads, Global Network Teams, and other Sales Support teams (including other teams in S&I Advisory team).
Thought Leadership & Asset Creation: Act as an industry expert, staying ahead of emerging trends, offering innovative insights on deals, and building strategic assets which could enhance Accenture’s competitive advantage in the market.
What are we looking for?
12+ years of experience in consulting or pre-sales leadership roles in Data and AI space
Essential understanding of the Data and AI space including Accenture’s offerings, particularly in emerging areas of AI.
Proven success in leading large-scale solution advisory engagements, including developing proposals, solution design, and presenting to C-suite executives.
Collaborative attitude for working and interacting with deal teams and with leadership team and ability to manage in a professional setting.
Proven relationship management skills at all levels.
Support/mirror working hours for the supported market/geography or other business area.
Flexible with working hours to meet shifting business needs.
