Solaris Administrator

EXP: 6-10 YEARS

LOCATION: BANGALORE

Required Skills:

• Experienced Solaris administration experience working in a medium to large complex highly process oriented global IT infra environment.

• Excellent Knowledge on Solaris 8, 9,10/11 administration, Performance tuning, Capacity Planning, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in Filesystem management, ACLs, and File/Directory Permissions.

• Experienced in management of SVM/ZFS/UFS/VXVM.

• Experienced in administrating of Zones both global and local zones.

• Good understanding, configuration and migration of LDOMS and CDOM.

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting OpsCenter.

• Experienced in Patch management with Solaris OS live upgrade and firmware update.

• Good understanding of IPMP/Network Configuration, SSH, telnet, ftp/sftp and provide user level, NFS server and SAN configuration which involves scanning LUNs.

• Experienced in Veritas/Sun cluster & Volume manager installation and administration.

• Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems.

• Experience in shell scripting or Ansible playbook automation.

• Knowledge on scheduling backups & recovery.
