Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis
Develop designs for solar mounting structures (rooftop, ground-mounted, carports, and trackers).
Technical Documentation
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and international guidelines (IEC, IS, ASCE, etc.).
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate structural designs into overall solar projects.
Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and installation phases.
Innovation & Optimization
Research new materials and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Optimize designs for ease of installation and long-term reliability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).
37 years of experience in structural design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla) and structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ANSYS).
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and renewable energy systems.
Familiarity with international codes and standards for structural safety.
Skills & Competencies

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Perform load calculations considering wind, snow, seismic, and other environmental factors.
