JD-We are looking for a strong Golang Developer to join our engineering team supporting TikToks large-scale backend platforms and services. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Go (Golang), backend development, and microservices architecture.
While familiarity with DevOps practices and system reliability is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is backend application development, performance optimization, and building scalable services.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang
* Build high-performance APIs and microservices for large-scale applications
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following engineering best practices
* Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
* Work with databases, APIs, and distributed systems to support application functionality
* Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and infrastructure teams for deployment and monitoring
* Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution
* Contribute to system design discussions and architecture improvements
* Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes when required
Required Skills
* Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
* Experience developing backend applications and microservices
* Good understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
* Experience with Git / GitHub version control
* Knowledge of Linux environments and basic scripting
* Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications
* Understanding of software development best practices and system design
