Job Title: Software Tester (Manual & Automation) Web & Mobile Applications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance for healthcare-grade SaaS applications by executing comprehensive testing strategies across functional, API, performance, and UAT layers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.

* Perform manual testing including functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

* Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.

* Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate backend integrations and data accuracy.

* Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress.

* Execute performance and load testing using JMeter to validate system stability and scalability.

* Validate application behavior across multiple browsers, devices, simulators, and real devices using tools like BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab.

* Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA and manage test cases using TestRail or similar tools.

* Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).

* Ensure applications comply with ISO 13485, FDA (21 CFR Part 820), and CDSCO regulatory standards.

* Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

* 2+ years of experience in software testing for web and/or mobile SaaS applications.

* Strong experience in manual testing, API testing, and UAT execution.

* Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium with JUnit/TestNG/Cypress.

* Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA and TestRail.

* Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.

* ISTQB certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working on healthcare or MedTech applications.

* Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, or healthcare data standards such as FHIR/HL7.

* Experience with Bluetooth/BLE integrations, real-time systems, or background services.

* Exposure to accessibility, security, and compliance testing.
