We are hiring a strong Automation Software Tester who has real-time hands-on experience in Java Selenium, Cucumber OR Playwright (JavaScript), API automation with Rest Assured, and Postman.
This role requires a candidate who can work independently, design robust frameworks, and handle real-time project scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java Selenium
Write and execute test scripts using Cucumber BDD OR Playwright (with JavaScript)
Perform API automation using Rest Assured and test APIs using Postman
Prepare test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing
Perform integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation testing
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures independently
Work with developers and product teams to ensure quality across all modules
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions preferred)
Document test results and provide detailed defect reports
Understand real-time workflows and handle testing for SaaS and enterprise systems

Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Java Selenium automation (minimum 3 years)
Good practical experience in Cucumber BDD OR Playwright with JavaScript
API automation with Rest Assured and manual API testing with Postman
Solid understanding of automation frameworks, POM, data-driven testing, and BDD
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with Git, Jenkins, or any CI/CD pipeline
Ability to work fast, independently, and handle real-time project pressure
Good communication and documentation skills

Good to Have
Knowledge of SQL for backend validation
Experience testing SaaS products or enterprise applications
Exposure to JMeter or performance testing tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Salary Range
25,000 45,000 per month
(Salary based on experience; performance bonuses available)
