Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and fast-learning Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our SaaS products. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and developers in an agile environment to test new features rapidly, validate user workflows, and help ship high-quality releases.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position based in Coimbatore.

The Software Tester will be responsible for conducting test executions, ensuring quality assurance, and working with the development team to identify and solve software issues. The ideal candidate will have a structured and logical approach to testing and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web-based SaaS applications across local, staging, and production environments
• Understand product features quickly and test them from a user experience and real-world usage perspective
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases for new features, regressions, and bug fixes
• Perform functional, regression, UI, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly with reproducible steps, screenshots, and logs
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers in an agile workflow
• Validate fixes and ensure no regressions before releases
• Assist in setting up and maintaining test automation, preferably using Playwright
• Continuously improve test coverage, test scenarios, and QA processes
• Actively participate in release cycles, feature reviews, and quality discussions

Skills required

• Ability to quickly understand software products and workflows
• Proficiency in Test Execution and the ability to create and analyze Test Cases
• Strong Analytical Skills and logical thinking abilities
• Experience testing modern web apps (SPA, dashboards, editors, collaboration tools)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of test automation concepts, familiarity with Playwright (preferred)
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach in identifying and solving issues
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools
• Relevant certifications in software testing are a bonus
