Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will contribute to the development of automated and Manual testing strategies to enhance our testing processes. You will be responsible for active participation in requirements development, coding, and verification of automated test systems in all stages of the software development lifecycle. You will be collaborating with multiple global teams and require to work in the large project teams.

You will report to the Sr. Software Engineering Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Bangalore, India.

Your Responsibilities:

• Help write and maintain automated test scripts and manual test for various functionalities, using tools like Qtest tool, Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or similar.
• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using appropriate tracking tools JIRA.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and identify test cases.
• Document and report defects, working with developers to ensure they are resolved.
• Help improve existing test automation frameworks and processes.
• Work closely with teams, including developers, business analysts, and other testers.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in automation and manual testing.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
