Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with a solid understanding of modern testing tools and best practices. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing test cases, performing software testing, and aiding in maintaining the quality and functionality of applications. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with development teams, reporting bugs, ensuring efficient test processes, and improving the software testing lifecycle to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Conduct testing across Web and Mobile applications
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve product quality
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience in Manual Testing and Test Case Design
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Experience testing Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and APIs
• Proficiency with automation tools such as:
• Playwright
• Cypress
• Appium
• Experience with Postman for API validation and testing
• Good understanding of:
• SDLC & STLC
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Test documentation and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of Agile development practices is a plus
