Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Software Test Engineer located in Chennai. The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with the software development team to ensure high-quality software releases. The Software Test Engineer will monitor software development processes and perform various testing activities, including manual and automated testing, to validate performance and functionality compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Test Execution, Software Testing, and creating and managing Test Cases
• Solid knowledge of Software Development and Testing methodologies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the software development lifecycle and quality assurance practices is desirable
