Software Technologist I
The Interoperability Competence Center (IOCC) team is a partner in enabling interoperable products to make information from a system available and usable in any other applicable system. Our expertise is in DICOM, FHIR, HL7, IHE, and ILS. We are a global team that works across 2 sites - Bengaluru, India and Eindhoven, The Netherlands. We partner with Philips product development teams in building interoperable products based on an extensive knowledge & expertise of interoperability standards implemented in Philips products. We collaborate with IP&S team in the context of interoperability standardization and governance.
Your Role:
- Analyses, designs, tests, codes, secures, debugs, modifies, deploys, integrates and maintains (system) software enhancements, test environment and/or new software.
- Uses state-of-the-art technologies and practices.
- Interacts with users / product owners to define / adjust requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Keeps abreast of technical developments and practices in own field through literature, courses/trainings, technical contacts, and competitive environment.
- Applies agile software development methods as a member of agile teams.
You are fit if:
- 5-10 years of software development experience with hands-on expertise in C#/.NET and WPF.
- Proficient in design patterns and software design principles (SOLID, DRY).
- Experience with HTTP, SOAP, and REST.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE) and regulations.
- Knowledge of Lean, Agile, and SAFe methodologies.
- Committed to software craftsmanship.
- Demonstrates strong customer focus and tech savviness.
- Cultivates innovation and consistently drives results.
- Resourceful in planning and aligning tasks.
- Effective at managing conflict and adapting to different situations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office-based role.
