Role Description

The Software Technical Lead will oversee the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance. Responsibilities include mentoring development team members, coordinating technical tasks, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining high-quality software standards. The role also involves working with cross-functional teams to address challenges and optimize software performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture:Define the technical vision, architecture, and design decisions for AI-powered fintech applications.
• Hands-on Development:Actively write and review production-grade code (often in Python, Java, or Go) and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• AI Integration:Implement LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows for financial services.
• Team Leadership:Mentor junior and senior engineers, establish best engineering practices, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Project Delivery:Own end-to-end execution, from problem framing to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Compliance & Risk:Ensure solutions are secure, regulatory-compliant, and optimized for data privacy.

Requirements

• Experience:7+ years in software engineering, with at least 24+ years in a senior or technical leadership role, preferably in fintech.
• Technical Skills:Deep proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras); and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Domain Knowledge:Background in financial systems, credit, risk engines, KYC/AML, or trading systems.
• Soft Skills:Strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
