Software Tech Lead(Python)

Job Overview

Gamyam Info Tech LLP is looking for a Software Tech Lead with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our development team.

This role involves hands-on coding , leading developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.

Location: Hyderabad/Razole (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using Python.
• Take complete ownership of modules and featuresfrom design to deployment .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design & implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team to deliver on time.
• Solve complex technical problems and perform architectural decision making.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and contribute to continuous improvement.

Technical Skills Required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Proven experience leading a team of Python developers .
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles .
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Basic understanding of application security best practices .
• Ability to architect, develop, and optimize scalable applications.
• Strong problem-solving ability and code review expertise.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to Docker or other containerization tools.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue).
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
