Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Salesforce applications and integrations. This role involves designing test strategies, executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to improve the overall Salesforce experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct API testing to validate Salesforce integrations with external systems.
  • Automate test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, JMeter, or other Salesforce automation tools.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Monitor Salesforce system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Maintain and update test documentation and knowledge base for continuous improvement.

Primary Skills

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, JMeter, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Knowledge of SOQL and SQL for data validation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I) are a plus.

Secondary Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce Lightning and Sales/Service Cloud/CPQ.
  • Exposure to performance testing and security testing in Salesforce environments.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and deployment tools like Copado, Flosum, or Gearset.
