Software Engineering Techno Manager - Networking/Datacom Domain

ACL Digital is actively hiring experienced and dynamic Techno-Program Manager to lead and drive complex projects across our Networking, Datacom, or Optical technology domains. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise in network protocol development with proven project and people management capabilities, with a strong preference for experience in a customer-facing or services-oriented environment.

Job Description & Requirements - Job Role - Software Engineering: - Techno Manager/ Program manager/Technical Project Manager

Experience: 1218 years of total experience with technical and people management.

Technical Expertise

• Strong coding skills in C/C++ proficiency when necessary in code reviews, and debugging for protocol stack implementations.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience and define technical architecture / specifications for features of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (e.g., STP/MSTP, VLAN, LACP, ARP, IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, Multicast).
• Provide technical oversight and guidance for the design, implementation, and testing of networking systems and software, ensuring performance, scalability, robustness, and low latency.
• Oversee integration with switching/routing hardware, SDKs, drivers, and underlying OS/kernel modules.

Project & people Management/Leadership :

• Proven experience in project/program management and team leadership (hiring, mentoring, performance management).
• Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of multiple projects.
• Drive all project life cycle aspects: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, scope definition, tracking, risk management, quality adherence, and delivery.
• Good understanding of project financials, including P&L, margins, and budgets.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external customers and internal stakeholders (Engineering, QA, Operations, Product, etc.), managing expectations and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Define clear roles, set goals, conduct performance reviews, foster a culture of ownership/quality, and manage team dynamics, morale, and resourcing.
• Experience working in a services organization or on customer-driven project deliveries is a significant advantage. PMP / Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
