ABOUT ROLE

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site)

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Software Products Development to lead our growing engineering team in Bangalore. The role demands a strong technology leader who thrives in startup and growth-stage environments , can balance hands-on engineering with people leadership, and is comfortable working closely with customers to deliver business impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and scale an engineering team, fostering a startup-style culture of agility, ownership, and innovation.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable SaaS HCM products using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
• Progressively adoption of newer, better technologies like AI/ML to enhance talent Intelligence.
• Possess expertise in driving microservices-based architecture and managing system integrations at scale.
• Hands-on experience in integrating products and ERP applications like Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience in rolling out AI products and skilled in championing the companys AI roadmap .
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer needs into scalable, intelligent technology solutions.
• Engage directly with customers and stakeholders , ensuring solutions aligns with strategic business outcomes.
• Knowledgeable in and establish best practices for DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, and agile execution.
• Balance strategic decision-making with hands-on problem-solving , ensuring both vision and execution excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10 Plus years of progressive engineering experience, including 35 years in lead roles.
• Proven success in startup or high-growth environments , with the ability to navigate ambiguity & scale teams.
• Architecture & coding expertise in Java Spring Boot, Angular, microservices , and analytics-driven platforms.
• Hands-on experience in developing full-fledged enterprise-grade applications using Java and Angular, with a continuous drive to adopt and implement emerging technologies for modernization and scalability.
• In-depth experience in integrations of with ERP systems and other Apps.
• AI/ML product experience in either developing or in deployment.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP , along with DevOps, CI/CD automation, and containerization practices experience.
• Strong foundation in system design, scalability, performance optimization, and security architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
